Our client is seeking to recruit a Yard Operative to work in a busy Hire company.
Loading and off loading lorries with a forklift
Checking deliveries in and out of the yard.
Inventory and Stock checking.
Power washing the returning equipment.
General upkeep and housekeeping of the yard and stores area.
Report to Operations Manager / Stores Supervisor
Must follow strict health and safety guidelines
Must have a safe pass and up to date manual handling certificate.
Experience in driving a fork-lift or a valid forklift licence would be an advantage but not essential as training can be provided to a suitable candidate.
A full clean driving licence would be a requirement.
Heavy lifting can be involved and outdoor work in all weather.
Must be physically fit, have no issue with a wide range of manual handling tasks.
