Accounts Technicians / Part-Qualified Accountants

Our client is seeking to recruit Full Time Accounts Technician or Part Qualified.

Our client is a well-
regarded financial services firm.

Based in Athy, Co Kildare.

We are currently recruiting for the positions of Accountant, Part Qualified
Accountant and Tax Technician to join our team

The role will play an integral part of our business to provide tax advice and
ensure tax compliance for our customers.

This is an excellent opportunity for

successful candidate will work in a dynamic environment, as part of a very supportive team, with full training provided.
The role will be working as part of our accountancy team in a range of tasks.

This will be achieved through:
 Prompt attention to our customer needs, accurate assessments and
processing of their tax returns across various tax heads such as Income Tax, CGT and Corporation Tax.
 Identifying opportunities and communicating these through our Client
Relationship Management system, to our customers.
 Liaising with the team at all levels to ensure all tasks are handled efficiently.



Your experience:
 A knowledge of the Irish PAYE and Income tax system essential.
 Experience using ROS, and also liaising with Revenue Commissioners in
relation to various returns, queries etc.

Experience using Sage accounts (preparing both sole trade and company
accounts) – is an advantage but not essential.

 Knowledge of Companies Registration Office Core portal.
 Experience working in an accountancy practice – is an advantage but not
essential.
 Must be capable of prioritising workload to meet strict deadlines.
 Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.

 Excellent attention to detail/accuracy.

Your Skills
 The ability to communicate effectively (written and oral) with varying types of customers.
 You will be adept in using Microsoft 365 applications.
 You will be able to work on site from our office in Athy. Co. Kildare.
